Calibration Made Easy!

Vibration Analysis Ltd. is pleased to announce the availability of our new Calibration Made Easy product. What is Calibration Made Easy (CME)?

CME is a better way to have your company's Machine Condition Monitoring instrumentation assets calibrated periodically to remain in compliance with ISO 9000, QS 9000, ISO/TS 1694, ISO 17025, ISO Guide 25 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 program requirements.

Why is CME a 'better' way? There are a number of reasons…

With CME, we put control of the calibration process in your hands. We provide you with all the tools required to perform the actual calibration process for your Condition Monitoring instrumentation in the comfort of your office! Instrument turnaround time from your calibration vendor is zero. There is no handling and packaging of your instrument for return to your calibration vendor. There are no UPS or FedEx costs associated with getting your instrument to your calibration vendor. Your personal time spent 'expediting' the return of your instrument from your calibration vendor is eliminated. And all of the costs associated with performing all of the above tasks? Gone. A thing of the past.

How does CME work? We can provide you with a calibration 'kit', traceable to NIST. This kit contains the same instrumentation used by your current calibration vendor to conduct work on the instrumentation and sensors you send them. We also provide you with a calibration procedure on CD-ROM, or connectivity to the Vibration Analysis Limited Calibration Made Easy website. This procedure will be geared specifically to the Machine Condition Monitoring instrumentation you own and specify. Calibration procedures for Entek-IRD, CSI, SKF and many other OEM's instrumentation are already documented in our data base. You now have the capability to calibrate vibration data collectors, dedicated vibration analyzers, permanently installed vibration monitoring systems, balancing machine instrumentation and their accelerometers from the comfort of your office.

  • No instrument turnaround time. Zero! Zip! Zilch!
  • No instrument Handling and Packaging for shipment to your calibration vendor.
  • No expediting your calibration vendor for your Condition monitoring asset return.
  • No instrument shipping expense.
  • No lost revenue based upon no equipment to perform work.
  • No lost equipment 'in the mail'.
  • No additional charges for 'as found and as left' or calibration certificates for ISO purposes.
  • No expenses based upon performing many of the above functions! And…
  • No more OEM 'maintenance agreement' pricing for calibration services!

What about CME kit calibration procedure cost?

The CME Kit is priced at 2,499.00 and includes the initial instruments calibration procedure or web access at no additional charge.

Assume you own one (1) vibration data collector for your business and you normally send your instrument to the OEM for annual calibration; your Return On Investment is two years or less! Moving forward, you will save 30-35% per year on your instrument calibration costs versus sending the unit to the OEM!

Assume you own a data collector, any make, any model, during year two (2) the cost for calibration procedure or web access is $650.00. The cost to calibrate your data collector instrument is $650.00, the same cost you would be charged to send it to our Columbus, Ohio facility for calibration services and 30-35% less than the OEM charge for similar services!!
