Set up the L-700 to the spline drive with an adapter. Perform NORMIN procedure, with A-510 at end of barrel adjust the laser for angle, move the target near the laser and adjust for centers. This procedure could also be performed with a T-261 target, but only adjusting the laser with the target at the far end since the T-261 can read angle and center simultaneously. On the smaller barrels we would set the target up on a tripod in a fixture of some sort, and use an aperture to shoot through. We would only be using the target to set the laser to the axis of rotation.
