SPECIFIC NEEDS TRAINING ADDRESSES:

It will provide the trainee with information to setup and perform a Three Point Buck-In (flat plane), Two Point Buck-In (straight line), and Five Point Buck-In (squareness), calibrate level vials, and record measurements relative to flat or level.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course will provide theory explanation and hands on training in the following areas:

  • Terminology
  • Equipment Connections
  • Laser and Target Setup
  • Calibration of Level Vials
  • Creating a Flat Plane, Straight Line, and Square Planes to a datum

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

Trainee will be able to:

  1. Identify and describe equipment and functions.
  2. Correctly set-up and perform a Two, Three, and Five Point Buck-In.
  3. Correctly, calibrate Readouts to Targets.
  4. Correctly, calibrate Level Vials.
  5. Measure an edge or a straight line with a scanning plane or a straight-line beam.
  6. Correctly set-up and establish reference target datum points.

Training rates do not include travel or living expenses for instructor when performing in-plant training. Manuals are $50.00 each. Refer to the field service rate sheet for expenses. For international training where travel will incur a day of travel each way, an additional charge of $1,600.00 will be assessed.
