Laser Alignment Sales, Services, and Training Sales - Services |
Sales, Service, Training Using Hamar Laser Instruments, the leader in Laser technology since 1967.
Geometry Alignment: For measuring and aligning Level, Flat, Straight, Parallel, and Square utilizing the Hamar L-723 system. Other geometry systems available are the L-719, L-720, and L-722 geometry laser systems. This picture is demonstrating the preparation of a foundation for a large machine tool. We are bringing each leveling pad to the same elevation using a flat scan plane via the L-723 geometry laser.
Applications: Injection modeling machines, roll alignment (paper, plastic, film, steel, etc.), machine beds), surface plates, sole plate, anywhere geometry of a tool is required.
Renishaw Linear Calibration: MDS provides linear and rotary table calibration and ball bar testing. We do not recommend this type of calibration procedure until the geometries of the machine are corrected first.
Spindle Alignment Systems: For aligning a spindle to part, spindle to spindle, headstock - tailstock, where the center of axis of rotation must be in line and square through its axis of travel and on center and square to the part. For the most accurate spindle alignment system on the market today, we use and sell the L-700 Hamar Laser System.
Applications: Drills, taps, reaming operations, dial/ring machines, transfer lines, grinders, (headstock-tailstock alignment). This alignment system can save large dollar amounts in uptime, throughput, scrap, took usage, and quality savings through proper alignment.
Shaft Alignment: Using the largest target cell on the market, FM based infrared technology, and easy to use software, makes this unit the most accurate and user-friendly system in the market today.
Applications: Pump to motor, generators, and turbines, anywhere it is critical for shaft-to-shaft alignment. Although some couplings can withstand gross misalignment errors the motor bearings, seals and internal components in the driven and drive unit come under undue forces and strains. It has been proven repeatedly that alignment can reduce unnecessary downtime and repair to these types of drive trains.
Sheave Alignment: After years of request for some type of belt pulley alignment, Martin Hamar introduced the S-600 sheave alignment system. Since his conception of this alignment system, many more have entered the market. Mr. Hamar's system is the only system that actually uses the grooves of the sheave to project the angularity and true centerline of the groove to the opposing sheave. This easy to use system enables the user to view a digital readout for each axis being aligned.
Extruder Alignment: A misaligned barrel can cause excessive wear and tear on the barrel and screw as well as the internal bearings and mechanisms within the gearbox. it has also been shown that correct alignment reduces the amperage to drive the screw. Customers claim up to 3 times the barrel and screw life when the alignment is correct. Using this system is two to three times faster than optics and the alignment can be performed using a live readout. The Hamar L-705 system is used for extruder barrel alignment, and the L-506 can be used for Turbine alignment.
