The Vega MX-2 CNC uses state-of-the-art Pentium 4 3.06 Ghz Single Board Computer technology (SBC) combined with the Vega pc compatible Single Board Computer Numerical Control (SBCNC). Wrapped around this power house is a NEMA 4 industrial inclosure and keyboard to with stand the harsh environment of manufacturing shops. The oil tight hand held remote pendant helps your operators to make faster set-ups, and pick-ups.
The Vega MX-2 CNC is a full featured control by design. The SBCNC is capable of 8 axis of simultaneous motion with 5 axis geometry. Gantry machines can utilize the asycronous axis capability of the SBCNC with the advanced skew recovery feature. This feature monitors the skew between the master and slave axis and adaptively adjusts the over-riden feed rate based on the skew parameters. The SBCNC comes standard with a built in I/O controller that expands to 216 points of I/O to handle complex machine tools with tool changers, pallet shuttles, index tables, spindle gear shifts, coolant control, waylube, etc.
